1.2 – v1.2.0.8904
idgard Sync – Delete via Windows Explorer and Context Menu for idgard Items
With this release, idgard Sync gains a Windows Explorer context menu to open idgard items directly in the idgard web application, enables deletion of idgard items directly from Windows Explorer, and improves sync stability with a new full sync repair option.
Key Highlights
- A new right-click context menu appears in Windows Explorer on idgard boxes, folders, and files, offering a direct link to open the item in the idgard web application.
- Files and folders in idgard boxes can now be deleted directly from Windows Explorer. For boxes without idgard recycle bin enabled, deletions are prevented by default to avoid accidental data loss — you can enable it in the app settings at your own risk.
- Use "Full Sync" from the tray icon context menu to force a complete re-sync and recover from issues where files or folders were not correctly updated.
- idgard links shared via email or browser open the corresponding box, folder, or file directly in idgard Sync, without any manual configuration.
- idgard Sync now reads Windows system proxy credentials automatically, enabling support for corporate NTLM and Kerberos proxy environments.
- idgard Sync displays a new application icon reflecting the updated idgard brand design.
- The app has been updated to .NET 10 and Windows App SDK 2.x, the latest Microsoft runtimes, for improved security, stability, and long-term Windows compatibility.
