1.1 – v1.1.2.8107
idgard Sync – Proactive Security Fixes and Richer Box Status Information
With this release, we are closing two known security vulnerabilities and making it immediately clear why a box is unavailable, instead of failing silently.
Key Highlights
- ERM-protected boxes are now shown as greyed out in the box list with a label explaining that their content cannot be synced, instead of appearing like a normal box that fails to open.
- Boxes that require terms acceptance are now shown with a message directing you to the idgard website to accept the terms, instead of displaying empty content.
- Boxes with a time-limited access window now show whether the window has not yet started or has already ended, instead of showing the box as if it were accessible.
- When an idgard server enforces TOTP and you have not set it up, the app now shows a specific message and directs you to the idgard website to complete your TOTP configuration.
- Enterprise administrators can now disable automatic update notifications, allowing IT departments to control timing during company-wide rollouts.
- File type icons in the box content view now follow Microsoft's Fluent Design language, making file types easier to identify.
- The minimum supported operating system has been raised to Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11 to benefit from the latest Windows security improvements.
- Two known security vulnerabilities in the SQLitePCLRaw and System.Security.Cryptography.Xml packages have been patched.
We remain committed to making idgard Sync a trustworthy foundation for your file sharing — giving you a clear picture of your boxes at all times.
